Alexander KnightAston Martin’s Team Principal, Mike Krack, commends Fernando Alonso’s performance at the Saudi GP, securing crucial points. Despite Lance Stroll’s mishap, the team’s focus on progress shines through.
Mike Krack has praised Fernando Alonso for his fifth-place finish at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. The Luxembourgish executive is pleased to see his team secure ten points, following a mere three-point haul in Bahrain.
“A superb, highly dynamic drive from Fernando and 10 points for the team!” Krack exclaimed. “Both drivers were under significant pressure from the start and had to push hard to secure good positions.”
He expressed regret over Lance Stroll’s mistake that ended his race with an accident: “Unfortunately, a minor error from Lance cost him dearly when he hit the wall. It’s a merciless street circuit, and what matters in such situations is that Lance is alright.”
“A huge thank you to all team members for their relentless efforts – these three weeks have been intense in the Middle East. On the whole, we’ve made a strong start, have lots of data to take back to Silverstone, and are already focusing on the next race.”
