Max Verstappen resumes his reluctant return to Netflix’s “Drive to Survive,” revealing his discomfort and desire for privacy amidst the series’ deep dive into the behind-the-scenes world of Formula 1.
“You really don’t see me much on Drive to Survive because I don’t like doing it,” he revealed as the initial shootings for 2024 took place.
“You probably don’t get to see my good side because it’s just an interview.”
“I’m just sitting in a dark room and I hate it. There are always questions about F1-related topics, what I expect from the season, or topics I don’t like talking about anyway.”
The series owes its popularity to the revealing insights into the paddock life it provides, but Verstappen does not want to be a part of it.
“Some things are just private. People don’t need to know everything we do or say.”
