Alpine F1 gears up for the Jeddah Grand Prix, aiming to rebound from a challenging start and showcase their 2024 ambitions
The Alpine F1 Team heads to Jeddah for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, the second race of the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship season.
The team will once again sport the reverse pink livery as part of its title partnership with BWT.
Bruno Famin reflects on the season’s opening race and outlines the squad’s plans for Jeddah, as the team was evidently the 10th and last force on the field in Bahrain.
“The first weeks of the season were intense in Bahrain, where we conducted testing and competed in the first of the calendar’s twenty-four events.”
“We continue to learn and make progress with the 2024 package at our disposal. It’s only the first race; we’ve only raced at one circuit so far, and we will keep working hard to find improvements throughout the year.”
“The drivers are doing an excellent job on and off the track to keep morale high, and we look forward to the next opportunity this weekend in Saudi Arabia.”
“This weekend, we head to Saudi Arabia for a challenge completely different from Bahrain. Jeddah is a very fast, flowing street circuit, where drivers need to have full confidence in their car to attack the high-speed corners. The layout is less traction-sensitive than Bahrain, an area where we need to make rapid progress.”
“I know the team is eager to tackle this challenge and see where we stand on such a track.”
