Red Bull Eyes Victory in Jeddah’s 2024

05/03/2024

After a strong start in Bahrain, Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen aim to dominate in Jeddah, showcasing the RB20’s all-round capability.

For Max Verstappen, the winner in Bahrain, it’s crucial to prove on a vastly different circuit in Jeddah that the RB20 is capable of strong performances everywhere.

“The team had an excellent first race of the season, and I’m looking forward to Jeddah, which is a true high-speed, semi-urban track, where tyres degrade less over a lap.”

“It will also be a bit warmer than in Bahrain, so it will be interesting to see the performance differences between all the teams, as the track layout is completely different from last week’s.”

“Last year, it was a good track for us, so hopefully, we can do something similar and deliver a strong performance for the team.”

For Sergio Perez, who finished 2nd in Bahrain, “I’m excited to head to Jeddah this weekend after such a good team result.”

“Things weren’t totally perfect in the first race, and there’s a lot of development to be done with the car, but we have a good working base from now. There’s always a lot of action in this race, and it could be very close.”

“Last year, I secured a great victory, and I would love to repeat that.”
