Lance Stroll is set to compete in the Canadian Grand Prix as Aston Martin confirms his F1 return after a medical procedure.
The Aston Martin F1 driver was able to test himself at Paul Ricard.
Aston Martin F1 has announced that Lance Stroll has successfully recovered from his recent medical procedure and is now fit to take part in this weekend’s Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix.
“We are pleased to confirm that Lance Stroll will be back with the team in Montreal this weekend,” said Aston Martin.
“He has successfully undergone a medical procedure to relieve his symptoms and completed a few laps in an older F1 car at Paul Ricard earlier this week.”
“Lance is feeling fit and healthy, and he’s looking forward to racing in front of his home crowd.”
Stroll added: “I’m excited to be back behind the wheel with the team for my home Grand Prix this weekend.”
“I was always determined to fight to be ready to race in front of the Montreal fans.”
