Aston Martin F1’s Mike Krack celebrated crucial home points as Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso finished seventh and eighth at the British Grand Prix, delivering strong performances at Silverstone.
Mike Krack praised the entire Aston Martin F1 team, which he directs, after the strong performances by Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso, who finished seventh and eighth at the British Grand Prix held at Silverstone, just a stone’s throw from the team’s factory.
“Ten crucial points for our home race at Silverstone, with both cars in the top eight, is great!” the Luxembourger celebrated. “Lance and Fernando made no mistakes and managed well despite the few showers that made track conditions very tricky in the afternoon.”
“We optimized our strategy by deciding to keep two sets of medium tires, which proved to be the right solution. The team and drivers have worked incredibly hard to improve the car recently, and this result shows our efforts are heading in the right direction.”
