Charles Leclerc denies leaving Ferrari, voicing full support for Fred Vasseur as he commits to the team despite ongoing F1 frustrations.
Charles Leclerc has responded to Günther Steiner, the former Haas F1 team principal, who suggested that the Monegasque should consider continuing his career away from Ferrari, given his inability to secure a world title.
Steiner highlighted the driver’s frustration at the Scuderia and suggested Leclerc might eventually leave because of it.
In response, Leclerc stated that he had no intention of leaving, convinced that Frédéric Vasseur could lead Ferrari back to the top.
“Of course not, there’s absolutely no chance I’m leaving!”
“I believe in the project and I believe in Fred. Clearly, this is a difficult period, and in times like these, it’s easy to have doubts.”
“But I’m not thinking about leaving Ferrari—I want to win with Ferrari. And I will stay as long as I believe in this project. And I do believe in it.”
“I’ve always said that I have complete trust in Fred, and I’m convinced he is the right person to bring Ferrari back to the top.”
“He’s truly the one who can make Ferrari a winning team. I’ve always said that. I really hope that together, we can bring Ferrari back to the top.”
