Brad Pitt is back at Silverstone and Spa to shoot missing scenes for his upcoming film ‘Apex’ this July.
Hollywood star Brad Pitt is back on a Formula 1 circuit just before the upcoming summer break.
Last year, during the British and Belgian Grand Prix, several sequences of the feature film with the working title “Apex” were shot on the legendary circuits of Silverstone and Spa-Francorchamps.
However, due to the Hollywood writers’ strike at the time, Pitt himself was unable to work. Now that the strike is over, the 60-year-old actor is expected to film the missing scenes. The American will be back in the paddocks this weekend and normally on track at Spa from July 26-28.
“Apex” is a high-budget film production about Formula 1, set to release in June 2025.
It should be noted that about half of the Spa-Francorchamps track, including 600 meters of pit lane, has been resurfaced and will be completed before the Belgian Grand Prix 2024 at the end of July. “Apex” will have to accommodate these changes in its editing.
The work on the new asphalt – which is currently being laid between Blanchimont and Eau Rouge, Kemmel and Brussels, and Campus and Paul Frère – started in mid-June.
