Amidst speculation, Red Bull’s Helmut Marko addresses the team’s stability and Verstappen’s future with optimism.

While peace seems to return to the track for Red Bull, Helmut Marko is pleased to announce that “business is resuming,” yet he responded to the rumors escalating following Toto Wolff’s statements yesterday.

The Mercedes F1 team principal indeed expressed willingness to wait for Max Verstappen’s decision, hinting that the situation at Red Bull is far from resolved while Christian Horner might soon wield greater powers.

“I understand Toto’s point, as anyone would want to sign Verstappen.”

“Thankfully, things are quieting down a bit. We’re finally getting back to business as usual.”

He believes as long as Red Bull continues to provide Verstappen with a winning car, he will stay until 2028, when his current contract ends, but…

“Generally, I’d say yes, he will stay, but after this year during which so much has already happened…” Marko replied when asked about the driver’s future with Red Bull.

“As long as we can offer him a competitive car, I think his future isn’t a concern.”
