Zak Brown Extends CEO Tenure at McLaren to 2030

McLaren Racing has confirmed Zak Brown’s CEO contract extension until 2030, marking a pivotal moment for the team’s future.

Brown, who first joined McLaren Racing in 2016 as Executive Director of McLaren Technology Group, has served as CEO since April 2018.

In his role as CEO, Brown has been instrumental in shaping McLaren Racing’s strategic direction, overseeing the high operational performance of all McLaren racing teams, and driving significant marketing and business development.

“Zak has exhibited outstanding leadership qualities and has been key in advancing McLaren Racing. His extension reflects our confidence in his ability to lead the team to greater successes in the coming years,” remarked Paul Walsh, Executive Chairman of the McLaren Group.

“I am thrilled to continue leading McLaren Racing and to be part of such a storied racing team,” adds Zak Brown.
