Lando Norris calls F1 75 Live “crazy,” while Oscar Piastri remains reserved. Can this grand event truly meet fan expectations?
What can we expect from the first live launch show featuring all 10 F1 teams this Tuesday in London?
While opinions have varied in recent months, the anticipation surrounding the F1 75 event just 48 hours away is beginning to stir excitement among fans.
At the O2 Arena, we will see all the teams, team principals, and drivers in attendance, along with 10 single-seaters showcasing their 2025 liveries for the first time.
For most teams, due to production schedules and private testing, older cars will be presented. However, we may still catch a glimpse of some 2025 F1 models.
What do the McLaren drivers think? Asked about it during the MCL39 shakedown this week, they expressed clear enthusiasm.
For 2024’s runner-up in the drivers’ championship, Lando Norris, it will be “an exciting evening.”
“I’m expecting a lot. It’s going to be crazy. The O2 is a great place to do it, but we’ve never done anything like this before. So, it’s great for Formula 1, great for launching the season, rather than just going straight into testing or something else—it’s a bigger event. We’ll see how it goes.”
His teammate, Oscar Piastri, followed up with a more cautious take on the event itself.
“It will be interesting to see what it looks like. So I’m looking forward to it. I think it’s always important in life to try something different from time to time—that’s how progress is made. Whether it’s trying different things on the car or different things for the sport. Not everything will work, of course, but I think it will be an exciting thing to do next week, and hopefully, it will be a great show.”
Each team will have seven minutes to present itself, with some flexibility in format and content. Only the available space and audiovisual technology will limit their creativity.
