Red Bull will run a special white livery at Suzuka, honoring Honda with a striking tribute to mark the end of their partnership.
Red Bull Racing is set to bring back a striking white livery in Japan next weekend, paying tribute to its long-standing partnership with Honda.
The design will closely resemble the one first seen at the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix—a race that originally was meant to take place in Japan before COVID-19 forced a calendar change.
That 2021 livery, worn by Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez on the RB16B, celebrated Honda’s decision to step away from Formula 1.
Despite the Japanese Grand Prix being cancelled that year, Red Bull honored the moment by debuting the white design in Turkey.
Now, with the partnership nearing its true end, Red Bull plans to go big for its final Honda-backed race at Suzuka.
The RB21s of Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda are expected to feature a similarly clean, white-based livery—an elegant nod to both legacy and loyalty.
Interestingly, this special look might share visual cues with the current Racing Bulls VCARB 02, which also sports a predominantly white paint job and vibrant Red Bull branding.
Whether that’s coincidence or a subtle brand alignment, fans will surely take notice.
This race also marks a milestone for Yuki Tsunoda, who will drive for the main Red Bull team for the first time, stepping in for Liam Lawson.
Lawson, after a short two-race stint, will return to Racing Bulls for the 2025 season.
