This weekend, Max Verstappen will face a unique challenge, competing at Imola and simultaneously in the 24-hour virtual race at Nürburgring, showcasing his versatile racing skills.
Max Verstappen has a very busy weekend planned at Imola.
The world championship leader will not only pilot his Red Bull but will also participate in a 24-hour endurance race on the iRacing platform!
Verstappen is a leading member of the professional Redline team and he recently revealed that he carries his simulation equipment everywhere.
He has been officially named among the Redline crews for the 24-hour race on the virtual Nürburgring circuit.
It’s a scheduling clash that has certainly surprised and amused fans on social media.
Already in March, just hours before Free Practice began at Jeddah, Verstappen was live on the Twitch platform around midnight.
The Dutchman was also online on iRacing around 2 or 3 in the morning the day before the qualifications and the Grand Prix. This did not prevent Verstappen from securing pole position and winning the Grand Prix at Jeddah.
