Racing Bulls may struggle in 2025 as Yuki Tsunoda fears the VCARB 02 lacks the performance needed to fight for points.
While all teams are optimistic about their winter progress, Yuki Tsunoda has expressed concerns for Red Bull’s second team, which fell short of expectations during winter testing.
“I don’t think our performance is as strong as in the first half of last season,” Tsunoda stated. “So I believe it will be a bit harder to fight in the top 10, and scoring points will be very tight. There has been some progress, but not enough compared to what we aimed for so far.”
The good news for the Faenza-based team is that it was the most productive over the three days, completing 454 laps despite a few issues, particularly with the brakes. “I think I was quite surprised. Yes, productive days, I’d say.”
“We faced some obstacles, and things didn’t always go as planned, but that’s what testing is for. I think it’s good to encounter these problems now to prevent them in the future. Overall, I’m quite satisfied with these three days and looking forward to what’s next.”
