Donald Trump could attend the Miami Grand Prix again, stirring buzz as politics and Formula 1 collide in Florida this weekend.
President Donald Trump could once again make a surprise appearance at the Miami Grand Prix this weekend, continuing his visible presence on the global stage.
Last year, he caused a stir with a visit to the Formula 1 paddock, just months before securing re-election. Now in his second term, Trump flew to Florida on Thursday evening amid heightened global tensions over trade tariffs.
His trip includes a stop in Palm Beach, roughly an hour from the Miami circuit, for a high-profile Senate fundraising event alongside Vice President J.D. Vance.
The Miami Grand Prix takes place around Hard Rock Stadium, less than 100 kilometers from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence, a frequent base during his presidency.
While no official appearance has been confirmed, the presence of Secret Service agents at the venue is already raising eyebrows.
Trump has no scheduled public events on Friday or Saturday, adding fuel to speculation that he may drop in on one of Formula 1’s most high-profile American races.
