For Stake F1, another challenging weekend concludes with a hopeful finish in the middle pack, according to team spokesperson Alessandro Alunni Bravi.
For Stake F1, the weekends are consistently similar. The Hinwil team qualified at the back in Singapore and finished around the top 15, with Guanyu Zhou and Valtteri Bottas only outpacing drivers who had made a late pit stop. Team representative Alessandro Alunni Bravi tries to see the positive.
“We ended a challenging weekend on a positive note, finishing 15th and 16th with Guanyu and Valtteri. This shows that we improved our starting position compared to the previous race, and on merit, we finished ahead of an Alpine and a Racing Bulls,” said Bravi.
“I especially want to congratulate Guanyu for his true team spirit. After his pit stop, we asked him to give DRS to Valtteri from lap 40, and he helped his teammate stay ahead of Pierre Gasly by managing his pace while staying within the necessary window.”
He also praises the drivers’ ability to follow instructions and assist the team for the benefit of all: “Guanyu and Valtteri both followed our instructions on tire management, and we achieved a positive result, particularly in terms of the teamwork we demonstrated.”
“This race shows that, although we still have a lot of work to do, we are not out of the race. We are here, maximizing everything we have on track with our drivers, technical partners, and our factory, which has brilliantly supported our track engineers. We’ve made a step forward and will continue to push.”
