At Monza, Ferrari surprises with new suit colors and possibly a special livery, catching all eyes on Leclerc and Sainz.
Ferrari unveils new team colors for Monza, home Grand Prix. While the team has not yet released information on a special livery, it has already shared the colors of the suits and team apparel that Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc will wear.
As the Italian Grand Prix at Monza approaches, Ferrari changes colors for its drivers. The Italian firm typically uses the Grand Prix in Italy to introduce a temporary new aesthetic. While in previous years Ferrari had used Monza to unveil a special livery, for now, only the suits and team apparel receive an upgrade. However, the tifosi anticipate a new look for the single-seater which might be shared later in the week, along with new designs for the drivers’ helmets.
The new collection named “Monza Carbon Fiber” also includes t-shirts and caps for Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc, featuring a mix of black and yellow as opposed to the traditional red and yellow. The drivers’ suits will adopt a checkered look. This collection derives its name from the carbon fiber details on the sleeves and the bottom of the t-shirts.
While fans may not yet be convinced by the new colors, Charles Leclerc seems to have embraced his new style. “Carbon fiber is one of the greatest innovations in Formula 1, and the yellow touch makes the t-shirt really cool,” he stated. “We are ready for Monza and eager to hit the track.”
The exclusive products will be available online and in Ferrari stores for those wishing to purchase the special edition.
