F1’s Sargeant Dismisses Noise, Shows Strong Form

Amid swirling exit rumours, Logan Sargeant showcases his resolve and prowess on the F1 track, focusing solely on enhancing his performance and supporting his team.

Logan Sargeant has decided to dismiss the swirling rumours about his potential early exit from his seat during the summer break. The Williams F1 driver is focused primarily on his progress and demonstrating his ongoing improvement.

“I don’t even know how long I’ve been hearing noise from all around,” Sargeant stated. “Ultimately, I start my weekends wanting to do my best each time for all the hardworking team members.”

“I’m also here for myself, you know. I want to prove to myself that I can keep getting better, to show that I can do it. In my mind, I know the reality and I believe I’ve performed well this season with what I’ve had. And that’s what matters most to me.”

When asked about the possibility of having to relinquish his seat before the season’s end, the American deemed it unfair, noting that he has not had the same car as Alex Albon this year, except on very rare occasions. He thus contrasts his performance level with that of the previous season.

“I think given how long it took to have two equal cars, it’s hard to have a clear perspective on how things are unfolding. What I know is that I’m happy with how I’m driving. I couldn’t say that last year. But this year, I can.”

Having been sidelined by Williams in Australia following Albon’s accident, Sargeant is pleased with how he has bounced back: “As I said, the most important thing is that I know I’ve done well. I know I’ve driven well with what I had throughout the season.”

“Looking at Suzuka, I am truly proud of how I raced, and you know, I’ve kept trying to achieve results even when I didn’t always have the car to do it. I’m a fighter. I will fight whatever the situation. I’ll fight to the very end.”
