Red Bull unveils a new livery, aiming to recover from a tough weekend in Austria.
Max Verstappen aims to rebound after a disappointing result caused by his collision with Lando Norris. Red Bull will feature a special livery this weekend, unveiled this Wednesday, and he hopes to shine at the Silverstone circuit for the British Grand Prix.
“It’s another home race for the team, so we want everyone at the factory to be proud this weekend. Austria wasn’t the result we hoped for and there are many takeaways from the race that both myself and the team can really analyze and improve on,” Verstappen stated.
“We made some mistakes that cost us dearly, but we also need to acknowledge the good moments we had throughout the weekend, including the Sprint victory and the two pole positions.”
“We are analyzing what we did well and what didn’t work. It’s the last race of a very busy triple-header, so we want to come back strong at Silverstone.”
“This will be a special race, with a new livery on the car. We want to come back stronger and we are ready for the weekend at Silverstone, especially since it’s the team’s 20th year, which marks a celebration for us.”
Pérez seeks to regain his rhythm at Silverstone
Sergio Pérez had yet another disastrous weekend in Austria, qualifying nine-tenths behind Verstappen and enduring a very slow race due to damage he caused by colliding with Oscar Piastri in the first lap.
“Austria was very disappointing; the performance was affected from the start due to significant damage, which compromised my race. It wasn’t an ideal weekend.”
“We had made some good improvements between Saturday and Sunday, so it was frustrating not to see this reflected on the track. We have been working to analyze things, to ensure we have the pace at Silverstone throughout the weekend.”
“For the team’s 20th year in the sport, the British GP will be a special race for all of us, as we are so close to the factory and the homes of everyone who works and contributes to Red Bull Racing and our incredible success.”
“We have a special livery for this race, the car looks very special and I want to ensure I honor it with a better result, returning to the form we should have.”
