Red Bull Racing has officially presented its RB21, showcasing a striking livery and reaffirming its ambitions for dominance in the upcoming season.
Red Bull has unveiled the RB21’s colors, aiming to reclaim the Constructors’ Championship lost to McLaren last year.
The actual RB21 remains concealed for now, with a Bahrain shakedown scheduled early next week.

Red Bull has unveiled the RB21’s livery for the 2025 Formula 1 season, staying true to its signature look as Max Verstappen prepares to defend his world championship.
Despite an early-season dominance in 2024, Red Bull’s performance edge was eroded by McLaren’s innovative aerodynamic flexibility, leading to a tightly contested title fight. While Verstappen ultimately secured his fourth consecutive drivers’ crown, the team lost the constructors’ championship to McLaren—its first defeat in the hybrid era.
At F1’s official season launch at the O2, Red Bull released two renders of the RB21’s design. The car itself, set to be shaken down in Bahrain on February 25th, represents a crucial step in the team’s bid to reclaim lost ground.

Team principal Christian Horner acknowledged the RB20’s weaknesses and emphasized the winter development efforts. “We’ve worked hard to address some of the RB20’s shortcomings,” he said. “We made progress late last season, but the early races will tell us whether we’ve taken the next step.”
A major change for 2025 comes in Red Bull’s driver lineup. Liam Lawson replaces Sergio Pérez, who departed despite signing a contract extension last summer. Pérez’s struggles with Red Bull’s increasingly sensitive car were a key factor in the team’s constructors’ championship defeat.
Horner set clear expectations for Lawson’s debut season alongside Verstappen. “Liam’s role is to support the team as best as he can. There’s no pressure for him to beat a four-time world champion—if he does, fantastic. But we want to ease him into the role,” he explained.
Perhaps the biggest shift at Red Bull is behind the scenes. The RB21 marks the first car in nearly two decades developed without legendary designer Adrian Newey’s input, following his high-profile move to Aston Martin.
With Verstappen chasing a fifth consecutive title and Red Bull looking to reclaim its dominance, the 2025 season will be a defining one for the team.
