McLaren continues its stellar form as Piastri claims victory and Norris claws back points in a dramatic Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
McLaren F1 wrapped up the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix weekend with another standout performance. Oscar Piastri clinched his third win of the season—McLaren’s fourth in the last five races—while Lando Norris battled back to score valuable points after a tough qualifying.
Team Principal Andrea Stella praised the team’s effort across the board.
“We’re closing out this intense triple-header with another fantastic win for Oscar and a strong recovery from Lando,” said Stella. “I want to thank everyone—trackside, back at the factory in Woking, and our partners at Mercedes HPP—for their hard work during this demanding stretch.”
Stella gave special credit to the team for preparing Norris’s car overnight after his qualifying crash: “That was a big effort, and the whole team delivered.”
Reflecting on the race itself, Stella highlighted the strength of both drivers: “Oscar drove a smart and composed race, turning his front-row start into a well-earned victory. He truly deserved this one.”
As for Norris, the Italian boss praised his fighting spirit: “Lando bounced back impressively after a tough Saturday, working his way up the field to grab important points for the team.”
With Saudi Arabia in the rearview, McLaren now sets its sights on the next round in Miami.
“We’ll regroup at the factory, analyze everything, and keep pushing. This championship is shaping up to be incredibly competitive—and we’re right in the mix.”
