Lando Norris believes the red flag at the Monaco GP simplified the race, reducing action and leaving fewer opportunities for drivers to improve their positions.
Lando Norris finished 4th in the Monaco GP, spending the entire race trailing the top 3, also engaged in a patience game.
The McLaren F1 driver admits: “The red flag simplified things and made it less action-packed than it usually is in Monaco.”
“It’s a good result for us as a team; there wasn’t much more to aim for during the race.”
“You always think about what you could have done and should have done, but it’s impossible to answer that correctly. We did what we could, I think the car’s pace was good today… so we’ll keep pushing.”
“A fourth place for me and a second for the team with Oscar is still an incredible result.”
