McLaren F1 Steadies Course in Turbulent Transfer Season

Amidst industry speculation, McLaren F1 stands firm, embracing stability and strategic foresight under CEO Zak Brown’s leadership.

McLaren F1 has recently undergone a restructuring and extended its drivers for several years. This makes CEO Zak Brown serene, who is pleased not to have to make recruitments while the season of transfers and all sorts of rumors is underway.

“We try to play a role in the transfer season, but we are not part of it!” joked Brown to the media. “I think one of the things I try to do is bring stability, visibility, and longevity to all our racing teams.”

“We are in an excellent position. The Formula 1 team, we know our drivers, we know our team director. Everything is going as planned, we have implemented our new technology, we have excellent sponsors.”

“I think that at a time when some teams are unsettled, where it is not known who will drive, where there are engine changes and other things of this sort, I think we are in a fairly strong position for the future. We just want to keep our heads down and continue.”

The American is proud of the upcoming developments for McLaren and its MCL38, while remaining cautious about the gains to come: “This evolution will not be as significant as what we delivered last year in Austria and Singapore, but it should be a decent step forward. It should be noticeable.”

“I can’t say more, because otherwise, we are talking about figures that we would like to keep confidential. It’s always a big if, because even though the success rate of this correlation has been good over the last 12 months, there are always possible surprises.”
