Red Bull celebrates Honda with a bold new look as Max Verstappen chases a historic fourth straight win at iconic Suzuka.

Red Bull heads to Suzuka with confidence and a tribute to Honda, as Max Verstappen eyes a new record and welcomes teammate Yuki Tsunoda.

This weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix holds special meaning for Red Bull Racing. It’s the final time they’ll race at Suzuka as a works partner of Honda, and they’re marking the occasion with a striking white-and-red livery paying homage to the iconic Japanese brand. Max Verstappen will also debut a custom white helmet to match.

The Dutchman, who could become the first driver ever to win four consecutive Japanese Grands Prix, says he’s feeling confident after a stronger showing in China:

“Suzuka is always a special place — there’s a lot of history here for us. We won the Constructors’ title last year, and I also clinched my second Drivers’ Championship here. I’m looking forward to another good weekend.”

Verstappen is also excited to welcome new teammate Yuki Tsunoda, who makes his Red Bull debut in front of a home crowd.

“It’s Yuki’s first race with us in Japan, so it’s a big one for him. The team’s tribute livery looks really cool, and I’ve got a special helmet to go with it. I had a few days to relax in Tokyo, but now it’s time to focus. The second stint in China looked promising — we’ve been working hard at the factory and on the simulator to keep improving.”

“Suzuka is such a fun circuit, with fast, flowing corners — it’s a track that really suits us. I’m hoping we can get the most out of the car this weekend.”

Tsunoda: “This Is Huge for My Career”

Yuki Tsunoda steps into the Red Bull seat for the first time — and he’s doing it at home.

The Japanese driver, promoted to the top team after a strong start to the season, is buzzing with excitement and fully aware of the challenge ahead:

“It’s been a crazy week. I was thrilled when I found out I’d be racing for Red Bull — it’s a mix of excitement, pride, and motivation.”

“To make my debut for Red Bull in Japan, my home race, is just wild. It’s a big step in my career and I’m ready for it.”

Tsunoda is determined to hit the ground running and contribute to Red Bull’s championship fight.

“The team told me to just keep doing what I’ve been doing — stay consistent and close to Max. That’s the goal: push for points, support the team strategically, and help fight for the Constructors’ title.”

“The RB21 has its challenges, and I’ve been getting up to speed in the simulator. My first real taste will be in practice, so I need to adapt fast.”

Tsunoda spent last week working with the team at their UK base and is eager to absorb everything he can from Verstappen:

“I’ve been learning a lot from Max, and I’ll keep doing that this weekend. My focus is simple: drive fast, give clear feedback, and help develop the car. Let’s make it count.”
