Haas F1 reaps rewards of relentless effort, netting eight crucial points in a promising Mexican GP performance.

Haas F1 Secures Eight Points in Mexico Following Strong Qualifying and Solid Race

Haas F1 secured eight points in Mexico after an impressive qualifying session and a robust race. Ayao Komatsu, the team’s director and orchestrator, could hardly contain his delight at seeing his team achieve such a strong overall result, with Kevin Magnussen finishing seventh and Nico Hülkenberg ninth.

“I don’t know what to say – this is another incredible result for our team,” Komatsu remarked with pride. “I’m so pleased to see everyone’s hard work paying off, with the upgrades and the car’s improvements.”

“I’m especially happy for Kevin; he drove exceptionally well in Austin, though we couldn’t deliver on Sunday. This weekend, however, he put in a stunning qualifying performance – everyone rose to the occasion.”

“His pace in the second stint was remarkable, catching up to Verstappen in his Red Bull and finishing just four seconds behind. This was probably the best driving I’ve seen from Kevin, and I’m genuinely thrilled for him.”

“In a way, Nico’s disappointment with his ninth-place finish is also a positive sign for the team. Kevin demonstrated the car’s potential, so we’ll be analysing the data to understand why Nico couldn’t replicate that level of performance.”

With 15 points secured over the last two weekends, Komatsu is eager to keep the momentum going in Brazil next weekend. “I can’t wait for Brazil – another Sprint weekend – and the chance to achieve another double points finish. Congratulations to everyone, and a huge thank you.”
