Rain is expected to disrupt Sunday’s Japanese Grand Prix, with an 80% chance of showers, leaving teams preparing for unpredictable conditions.
The third race of the 2025 Formula 1 season will take place this weekend, and as always, we’re checking in on the weather forecast ahead of Thursday’s media day at Suzuka.
So far, the weather for the first two days of practice and qualifying at Suzuka (FP1, FP2, FP3, and qualifying) is expected to be dry and sunny. However, the chances of rain will increase as clouds build up ahead of Sunday’s race.
As of now, weather forecasts predict an 80% chance of rain, but this could change between Friday and Saturday, as weather patterns in Japan can shift rapidly.
