Lewis Hamilton reunites with longtime confidante Angela Cullen as he embarks on a new chapter with Ferrari, strengthening his inner circle.
Lewis Hamilton highlighted the significance of Angela Cullen’s return to his inner circle for his first F1 season with Ferrari in 2025.
Cullen played a key role as a physiotherapist during Hamilton’s dominant years with Mercedes F1.
She was seen supporting Hamilton throughout race weekends, serving as his physiotherapist from 2016 to 2023, while also acting as an assistant and confidante.
However, Cullen made the surprising decision to leave Hamilton in early 2023. The duo reunited this winter. In the meantime, Cullen spent time working with her fellow New Zealander Marcus Armstrong in IndyCar.
Cullen was first seen during the seven-time world champion’s initial run at Maranello in January.
“It’s always important to have a strong group of people around me. And I’ve generally had a really good circle for many years. I still have the entire team I had last year, but I brought Angie back on top of that. We have a great relationship, Angie and I.”
“We’ve known each other for a very, very long time. We’ve been through a lot together. She took a few months off to spend time with her family and explore the world. Asking her to come back and start this new chapter with me, and the fact that she agreed, is pretty exciting.”
“We’ve already had a lot of fun. This past month together has been really great.”
