Lewis Hamilton unveils his Ferrari ambitions with inspiring words, urging fans to embrace change as he starts a bold new chapter.
Lewis Hamilton shared his first statements as a Ferrari driver.
He did so through a professional update on the LinkedIn platform.
The British driver, who left Mercedes after 12 seasons in Brackley, addressed “all those considering their next life change in 2025,” urging them to “embrace change” with new challenges in an inspiring message where he tagged Ferrari, his new employer.
By joining Ferrari, the seven-time Formula 1 World Drivers’ Champion will aim to become only the second driver in the championship’s history to win a title with more than two teams, having secured his first with McLaren in 2008.
Juan Manuel Fangio, the first to achieve five drivers’ crowns—a feat matched only by Michael Schumacher in 2002—won titles with four different constructors during the 1950s.
Hamilton and Mercedes F1 formed the most prolific and successful driver-team duo the series has ever seen, and winning a drivers’ championship with Ferrari would also set the Briton apart from the German, moving from seven titles to a record-breaking eight.
“I couldn’t be more excited for the year ahead. Joining Scuderia Ferrari, there’s a lot to reflect on.”
“To all those considering their next life change in 2025: embrace change. Whether you’re switching industries, learning a new skill, or simply taking on new challenges, never forget that reinvention is a power.”
“Your next opportunity is always within reach. Here’s to 2025, a year of seizing new opportunities, staying motivated, and moving forward with determination.”
“Let’s make this year unforgettable. Andiamo!”
