Hamilton Critiques Red Bull Saga Mismanagement

Hamilton Critiques Red Bull Saga Mismanagement

06/03/2024

Lewis Hamilton voices concerns over Red Bull’s handling of internal controversies, stressing the need for accountability and transparency in F1.

F1 activity has been overshadowed following the season opener in Bahrain by a number of off-track controversies that have made headlines.

Horner saw a case of alleged inappropriate behavior dismissed by an investigation from Red Bull GmbH prior to the Bahrain Grand Prix, before alleged evidence was leaked by an anonymous source during the free practice day. Since then, tensions within Red Bull have spread, with no clear end to the saga in sight.

“As someone who loves this sport, it’s really disappointing to see what’s happening right now.”

“It doesn’t look good from the outside and I assure you, it doesn’t look good from the inside either.”

“I think this is a really important moment for the sport to really show and adhere to its values, holding us accountable for our actions.”

“This is a crucial time for the sport in terms of what we project to the world and how it is managed – and it hasn’t been managed well so far, and transparency is really key.”

“I really hope to see progress, but I hope this isn’t a year that continues like this, highlighting some of the issues we also have in the sport.”

“We talk about diversity, inclusion and it’s essential that people feel comfortable in this environment, but clearly, that’s not the case.”
