Hadjar Focuses on Racing, Not Red Bull Speculation

Rising F1 talent Isack Hadjar says he’s not thinking about a Red Bull seat or contract talks—his sole focus is on performance.

Isack Hadjar isn’t projecting himself forward. Even as his progress continues to turn heads in the paddock, the Racing Bulls driver prefers to keep his feet on the ground. A contract extension with Racing Bulls? A possible promotion to Red Bull? The Frenchman isn’t making it a priority.

“I haven’t thought about it at all, we’ll see when the time comes,” he admits. “I leave that to my mother, and we’ll see.”

She’s the one managing his career while he stays focused on just one thing: performance. It’s a deliberately detached approach, one that contrasts with the turbulence often faced by rising young drivers.

Hadjar appears to be avoiding the fate that met the likes of Liam Lawson, demoted after just two Grands Prix, or Jack Doohan, dropped after six races. It’s a tough system—but one he understands.

“It’s pretty extreme, but if you have a solid contract—be it for one, four, or five years—and you’re not delivering results, then there’s a real issue,” he explains. “This is Formula 1. Drivers are expected to be at the top of their game. That’s why it’s a good thing there’s always the possibility of being replaced.”

Clear-headed, honest, and focused: Hadjar moves at his own pace, leaving career strategy to others. On the grid, it’s his speed that will do the talking.
