Scuderia Ferrari Reveals Bold Miami Livery to Mark HP Milestone

Ferrari unveils a striking new livery in Miami to celebrate its first anniversary with title sponsor HP, highlighting a unique race weekend.

Scuderia Ferrari is set to showcase a special livery at the Miami Grand Prix to celebrate the first anniversary of its partnership with title sponsor HP. For this occasion, the team’s SF-25 cars will sport a distinctive design, similar to last year’s, marking this milestone in their collaboration.

The driver suits will be fully blue and white, reflecting HP’s colors (see image). The car’s livery will be revealed in the evening, and it will be available on F1lead as soon as Ferrari presents it. However, expect to see some red on the bodywork, as Ferrari traditionally incorporates this color, a practice they have maintained since 1964.

Drivers Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton, and Team Principal Fred Vasseur unveiled a banner with messages from fans as part of HP’s “Messages of Forza” initiative, celebrating the first anniversary of their partnership with Ferrari.

Fred Vasseur, the team’s principal, shared insights into how Scuderia Ferrari has prepared for this special event, considering both the marketing aspects and the specifics of the track and weekend format. With a semi-permanent evolving circuit and a Sprint weekend ahead, there will be plenty of challenges.

“After spending several days in Maranello analyzing data from the season’s first triple-header, we are ready to get back on track in Miami. This is a unique race, and in Florida this weekend, we will also celebrate the first anniversary of our partnership with our title sponsor, HP,” said Vasseur.

“It’s the second Sprint weekend of the season, and we have thoroughly prepared at the factory, understanding that we only have one hour of practice before heading directly into qualifying for Saturday’s Sprint.”

“This means simulator work and pre-race briefings are even more crucial than usual. We want to continue improving the SF-25’s performance, motivated by the progress made in Bahrain and Jeddah.”

Ahead of the first American race of the season, Ferrari introduced one of its U.S.-based employees, Paul Wang. A software designer in aerodynamics, Wang didn’t come from a Formula 1 background. Instead, he worked in Silicon Valley before being drawn to the growing popularity of F1.

“The Miami International Autodrome is a unique blend of permanent facilities and temporary track sections. For anyone who has visited Miami, the biggest technical challenge is undoubtedly the weather,” Wang said.

“Known for its humidity and high temperatures, the Miami Grand Prix presents a range of issues, from managing tire temperatures to dealing with low grip levels and navigating tight walls. It’s a race that demands precision from both the drivers and the engineers.”

Wang has seen a shift in how F1 and Ferrari are perceived in the U.S. over the years, especially since he joined the team in 2024. “Absolutely! The rise of this sport in the U.S. has been incredible.”

“Not long ago, I was just a regular fan watching F1 races with a small group of friends. Now, when I’m back in New York, there isn’t a day that goes by without seeing someone wearing team merchandise.”

“With recent TV series, bigger audiences, podcasts, and the buzz on social media, America has really embraced F1. With three races in the U.S., the sport’s presence in this country is undeniable. Moreover, the energy and support from American fans for Scuderia Ferrari have been phenomenal.”

Wang also shared that he didn’t grow up with a deep passion for cars: “Growing up in New York, it’s pretty rare to get involved in motorsports or even obtain a driver’s license. But after a career in finance, startups, and Silicon Valley tech, I’m thrilled to finally fulfill this childhood dream.”

“I started working for Scuderia Ferrari at the end of 2024, focusing on creating aerodynamics software for the team. The Miami Grand Prix will be my first race in the U.S. with Ferrari, and I’m excited to be working remotely in the garage on race day.”
