Ferrari Hopes to Build on Belgian Grand Prix Momentum at Dutch GP
Scuderia Seeks Success on Zandvoort’s Twisty Circuit Following Spa Podium
Ferrari aims to continue its strong performance from the Belgian Grand Prix into this weekend’s Dutch GP. The team secured a podium finish at Spa and is keen to excel on the relatively twisty Zandvoort circuit, having shown competitive form on similar tracks earlier this season.
“Right before the summer break, the team put in a solid performance at the Belgian Grand Prix, achieving both pole position and a podium with Charles,” stated Ferrari director Frédéric Vasseur.
“It was a real boost to our confidence. We now head to Zandvoort, a track markedly different from Spa, as it is shorter, narrower, and more winding.”
“Therefore, it will be crucial to get everything right, down to the smallest detail, and qualifying will be especially important since overtaking is very challenging. As always, we will strive to extract every ounce of performance from our car.”
“This begins with quickly identifying the best setup, as well as relying on those on the pit wall and our drivers to make the right calls at critical moments during both qualifying and the race.”
Decisions that will play a pivotal role, as Vasseur expects tight margins this weekend: “Given how competitive the field is this season and the nature of the circuit, it is reasonable to anticipate that the weekend could be decided by mere hundredths of a second.”
