Jack Doohan arrived early in Miami, aiming to quickly adapt and make a strong impression during his first Sprint weekend in Formula 1.
Alpine F1 reserve driver Jack Doohan is wasting no time getting into gear ahead of the Miami Grand Prix. Determined to be fully prepared, the young Australian arrived early in Florida to adjust to the time zone and climate.
“It’s been great. I landed Tuesday afternoon — getting through the airport took a while, but once I was out, everything felt smooth,” Doohan shared. “I’ve had some quiet time with friends, and now I’m ready to dive into the weekend.”
Doohan is confident he can get up to speed quickly, which is crucial given Miami’s Sprint format. With limited practice time, being sharp from the very first session will be key.
“I’m feeling positive about this weekend. I really like the Sprint format. Hopefully, I can be quick as soon as I leave the garage — that would put us in a strong spot for the Sprint Qualifying,” he explained. “It’s my first time racing here, so the goal is to be in the mix and stay competitive throughout.”
