With Alpine F1 showing clear improvements, Jack Doohan is ready to take on Miami’s challenges and secure his first points of 2025.

Jack Doohan is still waiting to score his first points with Alpine F1. After five races this season, the Australian rookie is eager to turn things around in Miami, where both the Sprint and the race offer him two chances to shine.

For Doohan, it’s also a chance to gain more valuable experience driving a Formula 1 car in Florida, following his behind-the-scenes role as a reserve driver last year.

“I’m really looking forward to heading to Miami for the second Sprint weekend of the season,” says the Australian.

“The recent triple-header was challenging at times, but it was full of learning opportunities, and we have a lot of data to analyze. It’s clear that we’ve made progress since the start of the year, and now it’s all about building on those improvements every time we hit the track.”

“It was nice to have a week to rest and recharge. I used the time to prepare for Miami by working at the factory and on the simulator with the team.”

“The circuit is unique, with the NFL stadium at its heart, and the American fans always create an amazing atmosphere. I’ve felt that energy before, and I have great memories from last year, especially catching a pass from Patrick Mahomes!”

“Now, I’m excited to experience it as a full-time driver during this Sprint weekend. It’s going to be crucial to hit the ground running. We’ll do everything we can to push hard during both the Sprint and the Grand Prix, aiming to be in a strong position and fighting for points.”
