Stefano Domenicali remains at F1’s helm, driving innovation, competition, and passion as the sport enters a thrilling new era.
Domenicali has been reappointed as the head of F1 by Liberty Media—a decision unanimously welcomed in the paddock, a rare occurrence these days.
Without delay, he announced the signing of the new Concorde Agreements with the teams… but not yet with the FIA, as president Mohammed Ben Sulayem continues to stall.
Despite these behind-the-scenes tensions, Domenicali remains more motivated than ever. His mission is clear:
“My role is to bring everyone together and steer F1 in the right direction so that our fans continue to follow us with passion.”
And that passion is stronger than ever. The arrival of new drivers, the introduction of an 11th team with Cadillac in 2026—these changes fuel his optimism.
“I’m really excited because we’ll see more drivers, more teams fighting at the front. Five rookies are joining, bringing energy and ambition. On track, it will be spectacular, and every race will be different.”
Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari: A Thrilling New Challenge
The other major topic shaking up F1 is, of course, Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari, drawing even more attention to the Scuderia.
Domenicali is confident that the seven-time world champion has everything he needs to succeed at Maranello:
“For Lewis, this is a new chapter. This challenge will give him incredible energy. He must adapt to a new car, a new team, but I have no doubt he will integrate smoothly.”
Hamilton, already spending a lot of time at Maranello, appears fully committed to this adventure:
“He told me he sleeps there, that he’s experiencing what Ferrari truly means to Italy.”
And in terms of performance? Domenicali is convinced.
“I believe Lewis can win in his first season with Ferrari. It would be fantastic for him, for the team, and for the whole of F1.”
With fresh talent arriving, a more competitive grid, and blockbuster moves, the future of Formula 1 looks more electrifying than ever.
