Kevin Magnussen is uncertain about his future but hopes to continue driving for Haas F1. The Danish driver acknowledges the fierce competition in the market and understands that his team is evaluating other drivers.
“I don’t know if I’m confident, but I want to be here. The team and I have a good relationship, and it’s been that way for many years. I feel established in the team; I know things well,” said Magnussen.
“There are a lot of drivers on the market. Everyone is looking around, both drivers and teams; everyone is talking, everyone is assessing their opportunities, and that’s natural. But I hope to be here next year.”
While waiting for 2025, he will race this weekend in Monaco, a track he loves and where he hopes to have a good qualifying session. Magnussen notes that he needs to navigate through traffic, which hindered him at Imola, where he was blocked by Oscar Piastri.
“It won’t be a small challenge in Monaco to get a clean lap. But we have to make it happen; it can’t continue like this. But I’m happy to be in Monaco; it’s an incredible circuit and one of those I look forward to the most.”
