Stake F1 embraces Las Vegas flair with a bold livery, reflecting its online casino roots in the heart of the gaming capital.
Stake F1 will sport a special livery for this weekend’s Las Vegas Grand Prix. The Hinwil team, bearing the name of an online casino, takes the opportunity to showcase a unique design in the world’s gaming capital.
The Sauber C44s of Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou will retain their black and green colors but feature flame motifs with a gradient shifting from green to white on the nose.
After last year’s understated livery for Alfa Romeo, which introduced the Stake logo for the first time, the future Audi team has opted for a more striking and admittedly less subtle design.
Stake F1’s Las Vegas Livery Sparks Mixed Reactions
The unveiling of Stake F1’s fiery Las Vegas livery has ignited a wave of mixed reactions from fans. While some appreciate the bold and eye-catching design, others criticize it as flashy without substance, reflecting frustrations with the team’s current performance.
Supporters admire the simplicity and vibrancy of the flame-inspired design, calling it fitting for the Las Vegas setting. They praise the effort to stand out and bring energy to the final races of the season, with many expressing excitement for the colorful change.
However, critics see the livery as an attempt to distract from deeper issues. Jokes about the car “literally being on fire” or its visibility at the back of the grid highlight dissatisfaction with the team’s competitiveness. Some fans express concern over Bottas and Zhou, urging the team to focus on their drivers and improve results.
There’s also forward-looking commentary, with hopes that the future Audi transition in 2026 will bring better designs and stronger performances. Overall, the livery has successfully grabbed attention, but opinions remain split on whether it adds value or simply masks ongoing struggles.
