Cadillac F1 will unveil its striking new colors in Miami, marking a major milestone ahead of its 2026 debut on the grid.
The Formula 1 team, Cadillac, is gearing up to reveal its team colors at an exclusive launch event ahead of the Miami Grand Prix.
This highly anticipated event follows the F1’s final approval in March, confirming that Cadillac will join the grid as the 11th team starting in 2026.
Set for May 3rd at Queen Miami Beach, the launch has been described as “a red-carpet event at the cultural heart of the Grand Prix weekend,” with the venue transformed into a “Cadillac Club” for the occasion.
Attended by key figures from motorsport and Hollywood, the event will offer a first look at the team’s visual identity for the upcoming season.
This marks a significant milestone for Cadillac, which initially emerged as Andretti Formula Racing after the FIA’s call to expand the F1 grid a little over two years ago.
Despite the FIA’s approval of the entry, and the support of General Motors as a technical partner, F1 rejected the bid at the time, citing concerns about the potential competitiveness of the team.
In October, Michael Andretti stepped down as CEO of Andretti Global, handing over the leadership to his business partner, Dan Towriss.
Through his division, TWG Motorsports, Towriss, along with GM’s commitment to provide power units starting in 2029, convinced F1 of their potential, leading to the eventual approval of the team.
In December, Graeme Lowdon, former CEO of Virgin Racing and Marussia, was appointed as the new team principal after two years as a consultant for the team, which has bases in Silverstone and Fishers, Indiana.
