Valtteri Bottas gears up for a demanding Singapore Grand Prix, aiming to master the challenging circuit and intense conditions.
Valtteri Bottas anticipates a challenging weekend in Singapore, as this round of the championship is one of the most physically demanding of the season. The Stake F1 driver hopes to extract more performance from his Sauber C44 after a studious weekend in Baku.
“Singapore is one of the toughest races of the season, and that’s what makes it so rewarding when you succeed. The heat, humidity, and close barriers leave no margin for error, but it’s a circuit where experience counts,” said Bottas.
“We have worked hard to extract more pace from the car and if we can have a good weekend, I think we can move closer to a spot in the pack. It’s about making the most of each session and adopting a smart strategy. I’m ready to take on the challenge and eager to see what we can achieve under the spotlight.”
Guanyu Zhou hopes to benefit from the support of his fans, who have traveled over the last two years, and he knows the weekend will be tough: “The race in Singapore is always special—it’s a unique experience with the night race and atmosphere, and there are always so many Chinese fans supporting me.”
“Marina Bay is a circuit that tests both the car and driver. We have focused on improving our consistency over a race weekend, and I think Singapore offers a good opportunity to put everything we’ve learned into practice.”
“It’s a circuit that demands a lot in terms of concentration and car balance, but I am confident that if we execute our plan, we can be in a better position. Every race is a chance to progress, and I’m looking forward to taking on the challenge in Singapore.”
“An endurance test for drivers and team”
Alessandro Alunni Bravi, team representative, expects a challenging weekend in Singapore: “Singapore is one of the standout events on the calendar, both for the spectacle and the unique demands of the circuit.”
“It’s a real endurance test for both the drivers and the team, and a challenge we have meticulously prepared for. We acknowledge that our performance this season has not met our own expectations, but we are committed to making the most of the opportunities that present themselves.”
“Street circuits like Marina Bay reward precision and teamwork, and we have honed our approach to ensure we can rise to the occasion when necessary. Our goal is clear: to become more competitive and seize every chance to score points.”
“Last weekend in Baku, we achieved the fastest pit stop across all teams, which is a small indication of the direction we are aiming for: everyone in the team is pushing in the same direction, and we are determined to showcase the hard work that has been done behind the scenes.”
