Ollie Bearman and Andrea Kimi Antonelli are teaming up at Prema in F2, sharing their experiences from F1 academies and working towards success.
This season, Ollie Bearman (left in the photo) is teaming up with Andrea Kimi Antonelli (right) at Prema in F2. Both drivers are part of F1 academies, with Bearman at Ferrari and Antonelli at Mercedes. The British driver is pleased that their experiences after F1 tests are similar.
“He’s also had a lot of opportunities to participate in F1 tests, which is fantastic, and I don’t have much to offer him,” Bearman stated. “He has an excellent network around him, and it’s great that we can share this experience and discuss it.”
“What we’ve learned, what we found different in the car, what we found strange when coming back to F2, and things like that. It’s definitely a good thing.”
Bearman is pleased with his relationship with Antonelli within the Prema team, and the two drivers are working together to improve the team and achieve better results.
“Yes, of course, we have a close relationship, and as teammates in F2, we both aim for the same goal, which is to have the fastest car. I think so far, we’ve had a very good relationship and have succeeded in moving the team forward.”
