Official : Dan Fallows Departs Aston Martin F1 Amid Leadership Shift

12/11/2024

Aston Martin confirms the departure of Technical Director Dan Fallows, signaling a strategic shift as he steps down this November.

The Aston Martin F1 team confirmed just minutes ago that it is parting ways with its current Technical Director, Dan Fallows.

Both parties jointly announced today that as of this November, Dan will no longer serve as the Formula 1 team’s Technical Director. However, he will remain within the group.

“I want to thank Dan for his contribution to Aston Martin Aramco over the past two years. Dan led the team to the success of the AMR23, which secured eight podiums last season,” notes Andy Cowell, Group CEO.

“During my time at Aston Martin F1, it has been a joy and a privilege to guide the technical team on its journey toward race and championship victories. It’s time for me to pass the baton, but I look forward to the team’s future success, which I’m sure will come soon,” adds Dan Fallows.

Fallows will make way for Enrico Cardile, who will be overseen by Adrian Newey starting in March 2025.

Although Fallows will stay “within the group,” Aston Martin has not specified in what role. Possibly for the upcoming Hypercar project…
