Kimi Antonelli eyes a front-row start in Miami as he builds confidence and form with Mercedes ahead of the Florida showdown.

The best way to fight for a strong finish? Start at the front.

Andrea Kimi Antonelli is all smiles as he prepares for his first-ever Miami Grand Prix. The young Mercedes driver has been soaking in the energy of both the circuit and the city—and he’s clearly enjoying the vibe.

“It’s my first time in Miami, not just on track but in the city too,” he said. “The atmosphere is amazing. Everything feels exciting and fresh.”

Antonelli heads into the weekend feeling confident after strong performances in recent races. He’s hoping to keep that momentum going.

“Our car has been really consistent. We’ve shown strong pace in qualifying, and I’d love to fight for the front rows again,” he explained. “As for the race, we’ll see. Jeddah was tricky, but in previous Miami races tire wear hasn’t been a huge issue.”

For Antonelli, Saturday’s qualifying session could be the key to a successful Sunday.

“Our one-lap pace looks promising,” he said. “If we can start near the front, we’ll have a real shot at a strong result.”
