The mystery of Adrian Newey’s recent visit to Italy has been resolved.
Amid swirling rumors of a power struggle at Red Bull, seeing F1’s most revered designer at Bologna Airport – just an hour from Maranello – sparked much speculation in Italy and the media.
However, the 65-year-old engineer was not in town to meet with Ferrari.
Instead, he spent a day at the Mugello track.
