Adidas will become the official outfitter for Mercedes F1 in 2025, replacing Puma and Tommy Hilfiger.
An annual $11 million deal between Mercedes F1 and the iconic German sports brand Adidas is set to be announced.
In late March, we exclusively revealed this forthcoming agreement (read here), and the fact that with Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari next year, two fashion brands associated with him—Puma and Tommy Hilfiger—will need to be replaced for 2025 and beyond.
It soon became evident that Adidas, known for its “three stripes,” would likely step in as it ends its decades-long association with the German Football Federation (DFB).
“From 2025, Adidas will outfit the Mercedes Formula 1 team,” confirms the German newspaper Bild today, although the deal has not yet been announced.
“However, according to our information, the deal is finalized. The sports apparel manufacturer has already presented its first designs to the team.”
