Charles Leclerc’s 2024 Formula 1 season was marked by solid performances and significant moments for the Ferrari driver. The Monegasque finished third in the drivers’ championship and prioritized the constructors’ title towards the end of the season, which resulted in a very disappointing failure.

Leclerc experienced standout moments, notably a victory in Monaco—one of his most important career goals in the top category. The other memorable win came at Monza, in front of the tifosi, where he triumphed for the second time.

The start of the season was frustrating, as Ferrari was clearly behind Red Bull, leaving him far from Max Verstappen. Worse for the Monegasque, it was Carlos Sainz who broke the Dutchman’s dominance in Melbourne.

The remainder of his season was not without difficulties. Ferrari endured a challenging mid-season period, preventing Leclerc from targeting the victories and podiums he had hoped for.

Tensions also arose with Carlos Sainz, particularly in Las Vegas, where a visibly frustrated Leclerc expressed himself harshly over the radio. However, with Sainz’s imminent departure, the situation calmed towards the end of the season as they chased the constructors’ title, ultimately in vain.
