Kimi Antonelli continues to dominate the 2026 Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship, holding a commanding lead with 325 points. The Mercedes driver sits 89 points ahead of teammate George Russell, who occupies second place with 236 points, underlining the significant gap between the two championship contenders.

Lewis Hamilton remains firmly in contention for second place, sitting third with 221 points, just 15 behind Russell. The Ferrari driver has maintained a consistent presence near the front, while teammate Charles Leclerc occupies fourth with 197 points.

One of the closest battles in the standings involves Leclerc and Max Verstappen. The Red Bull driver sits fifth with 196 points, only a single point behind the Monegasque. Lando Norris follows closely in sixth with 189 points, creating a highly competitive three-way fight separated by just eight points.

Oscar Piastri holds seventh place with 128 points, while Isack Hadjar sits eighth on 96. Liam Lawson follows in ninth with 69 points, reflecting a competitive midfield where every championship point remains valuable.

Further down the order, Pierre Gasly completes the top ten with 41 points, narrowly ahead of rookie Arvid Lindblad on 38. Franco Colapinto occupies 12th with 27 points, followed by Oliver Bearman on 23.

Gabriel Bortoleto, Nico Hülkenberg, Esteban Ocon, Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz complete the next group of points scorers, with several drivers separated by only a handful of points.

With Antonelli enjoying a substantial advantage at the top, attention increasingly turns towards the closely contested positions behind him. The fight for second place, alongside the intense battle between Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren drivers, remains a central storyline as the 2026 championship approaches its decisive stages.
