Ferrari opts out of Formula 1’s joint 2025 season launch, confirming a separate event to showcase its latest challenger.
Ferrari is the first F1 team to confirm it will still hold a traditional car launch for 2025, separately.
Formula 1 recently announced that all drivers and team principals will gather at London’s O2 Arena next February for the first-ever joint season launch, unveiling the 2025 liveries of all teams.
Some refer to it as the “F175,” marking the sport’s 75th anniversary—and it is already sold out.
Formula 1 has been pushing for a joint season launch for several years but faced resistance from teams preferring individual car and livery reveals for obvious sponsorship and marketing reasons.
The compromise is the joint launch at the O2, where most teams are expected to bring show cars featuring their 2025 liveries—though rumors suggest some might present their actual new cars.
Ferrari, however, is the first to confirm it will hold its own launch.
The date for Ferrari’s launch is not yet announced, though it is expected to take place after February 18.
