Lando Norris returned to Woking from Spain to reflect on the first nine races of the season.
Together with his engineers, the McLaren F1 driver prepared for the upcoming race, the Canadian Grand Prix, where he hopes to shine.
“After a race-free weekend, I’m looking forward to getting back on track. It was great to spend time with the team in Woking last week, where we were able to reflect on the season so far while working hard to get ready for the Canadian Grand Prix,” said Norris.
“Montreal is a fantastic city and I love racing there. We’ll do everything we can to fight for victory and bring home some important points.”
Oscar Piastri won the most recent race and is aiming for a strong performance in Montreal.
“I’m feeling very positive and focused heading into Montreal. It’s a good chance to build on our momentum and I’m excited to take on the fast, low-downforce track.”
“The win in Barcelona was a great weekend for me and I’m happy to be back racing after the break. The team is doing an excellent job across the board and together we continue to move forward through hard work.”
Team Principal Andrea Stella outlined what the team has done since the last race.
“The past week away from the track has been productive and allowed us to come together as a team and evaluate our season so far.”
“It’s clear that despite a solid start to the season, our rivals remain very close and we need to stay fully focused on delivering and extracting performance every weekend.”
“Looking ahead to the Canadian Grand Prix this weekend, we know Montreal is a very exciting circuit, with often unpredictable weather conditions. As always, we go into the weekend focused on ourselves and on what we need to do to improve as a team.”
