McLaren F1 Eyes Triumph in Vegas Triple-Header Chase

Norris Targets Delay of Verstappen’s F1 Title Bid

McLaren F1 faces a pivotal triple-header in Las Vegas as Norris seeks to prolong Verstappen’s charge toward a fourth title.

Lando Norris returns to the track in Las Vegas with a single goal: to delay, if possible, Max Verstappen’s fourth Formula 1 title.

To achieve this, the McLaren F1 driver must primarily focus on finishing ahead, something his MCL38 is capable of delivering. However, the main mission remains extending the team’s lead over Ferrari, a serious threat in the Constructors’ Championship.

“It’s good to be back! We’ll be under the spotlight in Las Vegas. Driving along the Strip is really cool, and I’m excited to race there with the MCL38. We’ve had a good car this year, and the field is incredibly strong, so I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve this weekend.”

Oscar Piastri shares his enthusiasm: “I’m excited to head to Las Vegas and start an important triple-header. We’re working hard to maintain our advantage in the Constructors’ Championship and finish the season on a high note.”

“Our goal is to give it everything to secure more wins and podiums before the season ends. There’s a lot of hard work and determination within the team, and I’m highly motivated to achieve more success in this final stretch of the season.”

Andrea Stella, the team principal, sets clear objectives:

“After a demanding triple-header in the Americas, we now head to Las Vegas. This marks the first race of the season’s final triple-header and one of the toughest from a scheduling perspective. As expected, the field remains incredibly competitive, but we have a strong car and a dedicated team that has worked tirelessly all season to put us in a great position.”

“It has been an incredibly intense season for everyone, and this is now the final push to get the job done. We remain focused because we know the hard work isn’t finished yet. Every point matters, and the team is motivated to ensure we execute a strong race and provide the drivers with the best possible package.”
