Azerbaijan Sprint Shootout Results reveal Charles Leclerc dazzling the crowd by securing the F1 Sprint pole position on Saturday. Despite a collision with a barrier, the resolute racer triumphed over both Red Bull competitors, promising an electrifying race ahead.

Charles Leclerc secured the pole position for the F1 Sprint on Saturday afternoon, outperforming the Red Bull racers to claim the leading position.

Leclerc achieved the prime position following his initial run in SQ3, although he collided with the barrier during his second try, resulting in the deployment of yellow flags.

Sergio Perez outpaced his team member, Max Verstappen, to join the front row, while Carlos Sainz came in fourth, outperforming the Mercedes pair.

Logan Sargeant collided with the wall at the conclusion of Q1, causing his elimination from the qualifying session.

Charles Leclerc triumphed in the qualifying session for the sprint race, outpacing both Red Bulls to secure pole position.

Leclerc’s initial flying lap in SQ3 was clocked at 1m41.697s, putting him nearly two-tenths ahead of Sergio Perez’s top performance.

Although Leclerc’s Ferrari made contact with the wall at Turn 5 during his final attempt, it didn’t impact the outcome, as neither Perez nor Max Verstappen managed to surpass his time.

Perez and Verstappen enhanced their times on their second laps but continued to hold the second and third positions.

George Russell delivered his best performance at the last moment, surpassing Carlos Sainz to secure the fourth spot on the grid.

Sainz’s final lap was disrupted by Leclerc’s previously mentioned incident at Turn 5 and the ensuing yellow flag.

Lewis Hamilton qualified in sixth place for the sprint, followed by Alex Albon in seventh.

DRS issues once again plagued both Aston Martins, resulting in Fernando Alonso claiming the eighth position and Lance Stroll securing ninth.

Lando Norris finished in tenth place, as he missed the final shootout due to a lack of fresh soft tires.

Oscar Piastri just missed entering SQ3, falling short by less than a tenth compared to his McLaren teammate.

Nico Hulkenberg outperformed his teammate Kevin Magnussen once more, as the two Haas drivers secured the 12th and 14th positions respectively.

Esteban Ocon placed 13th, with Alpine facing ongoing challenges with overall speed in Baku.

Logan Sargeant’s crash at Turn 15 prematurely ended SQ1, preventing him from participating in SQ2.

The red flag resulted in the elimination of Zhou , Bottas, Tsunoda, Gasly, and de Vries.

Outcomes of Saturday’s ‘Sprint Shootout’ qualifying round at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, constituting the fourth round of the F1 2023 World Championship.
